Journey Electrician

-Current Journeyman / Wireman certification required

-Ability to pass a drug test, background check and clean driving record

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial electrical applications in accordance to the State of Indiana and Local Building Codes.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Electrician will inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with all electrical codes.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, amp meters, frequency meters to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit, moving and lifting heavy objects, and crawling through small spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
• Willing to learn our system

Qualifications:

• Current Journeyman / Wireman certification required
• 2 year minimum of residential service work experience required
• Good driving record and current valid driver;s license
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Exceptional Electrician will be wearing a uniform, clean cut
